Joan Fontcuberta (Barcelona, 1955) has been devoted to visual arts developing his creative work together with a wide range of criticism, theoretical, curatorial and docent activity. In 1980 he was co-founder of Photovision, a bilingual publication (Spanish & English) for which he keeps being the editor. Since 1996 he is professor in the Audiovisual Communication Program in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
